Meet Our Horses

At Mane Characters Equine Reserve & Retirement, we provide a safe haven for retired horses. Our residents all have unique personalities and stories to tell. Get to know our current residents and their backgrounds below.

Khan

Khan has been with us for several years and loves to play with the other horses. They have a gentle personality and love to be petted.

Silver Tap

Silver Tap is a retired racehorse and has won several races in their prime. They are now enjoying their retirement and love to run around in the fields.

Declan

Declan is a retired police horse and has served the community for many years. They are now enjoying their retirement and love to be groomed.

Race Day Bay

Race Day Bay, aka Bailey, is a retired carriage horse and has given many rides to tourists in their prime. They are now enjoying their retirement and love to be fed carrots.
